1. EPFO has returned the hard copies of Joint Option Form (JOF) submitted by eligible pensioners to SAIL and asked pensioners to submit JOF afresh in the link https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberInterfacePohw/ The last date for submission has been extended to 3rd May 2023.
2. After giving detailed consideration to all aspects of the
recent SC judgement, our suggestion is that all eligible Pensioners or spouses must submit the Joint Option Form (JOF) without fail. We also suggest members not to make mistakes while filling up the JOF and make sure to provide correct information only in the JOF.
3. The pre-01/09/2014 ineligible
pensioners may please note that a few Review Petitions and Miscellaneous
Applications have already been filed in SC. Our case is.
