Sub: Request to meet our long-standing demand of a pension/ monthly financial assistance of Rs.5000/- to all non-pensioners Pioneer and Early Retired Employees of SAIL (Early Retirees)

Madam,

This is to invite your kind attention to the Newspaper reports and other reliable sources that indicates very encouraging financial fortune of SAIL. This, surely, is the result of hard work done by the SAIL collective under your superb guidance and leadership which has resulted in record cash collection.

In view of this and the reasons and justifications explained in the above referred letter we renew our request in the aforesaid letter for providing the non - pensionable category of Early retirees some monthly relief - Rs.5000/- or higher - in lieu of pension. This is required not only to mitigate the growing hardships of elderly retirees due to ever increasing cost of living in all spheres of life.

Madam, we make a serious appeal to you to kindly act fast in favour of Early retirees by providing relief to them for survival.
