Chairman,

Sub: Our present Concern for free of charge treatment of SAIL Retirees for COVID-19 in SAIL Hospitals & SAIL listed Hospitals
Dear Sir,
This is to draw your kind attention to our e-mails No. FORSE/SAIL-C/ 0520 dated May 25, 2020 and No. FORSE/SAIL-C/ 0620 dated June 4, 2020 and the traumatic experience the whole SAIL family had to go through just a week ago with the sad and sudden demise of Late Atul Srivastava, Director (Personnel). It is heartening to note that SAIL has improved further the Healthcare systems and facilities esp for dealing with Covid-19 cases of its serving employees.

Taking the Retired employees exclusively into consideration we would like to reiterate that the cost of treatment of such cases in any Super specialty hospitals is exorbitantly high, from a conservative estimate, almost to the tune of Rs 12-15 lakhs or more with passage of time, which is beyond the scope of meeting the expenses by the Retired Employees. Therefore, we are in need of a quick approval from SAIL to our Appeal in above mails, to provide free treatment for Corona afflicted Retired Employees in SAIL hospitals and in SAIL listed hospitals in cities free at par with serving employees without any tinkering of present IPD limit / SMSRE 19-20 or that coming up for the year 20-21. This needs to be expedited.
We also request you to kindly fix an early SAIL-FORSE meeting, as per your convenience, in Video Conference mode to  discuss and decide proposed SMSRE 20-21, other Healthcare issues and the one related to free treatment to Corona afflicted SAIL retirees from SAIL or SAIL recognized Hospitals.
Sir, at this critical juncture we need to be compassionate and humane to help vast number of retirees who had shed sweat and blood for this great organization being headed by your good self
With warm regards,

Sub: Request to organise a SAIL-FORSE Meeting soon in Video Conference mode

Dear Sir,
This has reference to our request for a SAIL-FORSE Meeting which got deferred for indefinite period due to Corona effect in the country. Now that the tender papers have been issued for early settlement of T&C of Renewal of SAIL Mediclaim Scheme (SMSRE 20-21) we feel that a SAIL-FORSE Meeting may be fixed at an early date as per your convenience to discuss some of the salient suggestions/ demands made by us.

In view of the restrictions in movement and safety precautions for Sr Citizens we suggest that the SAIL-FORSE Meeting may be held in Video Conferencing mode. We request you to kindly agree and ask the concerned department/ section to set up the soft and hardwares for the same. We offer to provide the e-mail ids or Mobile Nos. of the FORSE Apex Council Members.

As an alternative, you can also think of holding a face to face meeting with the principal Office bearers only, in place like MTI, Ranchi,( observing all safety rules like physical distancing and wearing essential safety gadgets etc) if you are visiting it soon and if we are given a Notice 3-4 days in advance.

We also request you to please make a copy of the SMSRE 20-21Tender documents available to us at the earliest.

Hoping to hear a +ve response from your end soon.

With warm regards,
