How to Pay

Salient Features:

1. Gap Cases can join on the same premium payment. However, they shold do it Offline.

2.. New India Assurance has been retained as the Insurer and MDIndia is the TPA.

3. Insurer/ TPA will make  arrangement for E-consultancy with Hospitals and E-pharmacy for Home delivery of medicines

SAIL Mediclaim Scheme 21-22 First information

Dear SAIL Retirees,

SAIL Mediclaim Scheme has been finalised and it is on similar lines as circulated earlier by us with coverage of Rs. 4 lakh each for IPD/ Hospitalisation with floating arrangement. 

Also as per information received, based on our recommendation dated 25th May 2021 New India Assurance Company Ltd alongwith MDIndia Health Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd. as TPA have been selected to continue for SAIL Mediclaim Scheme for 2021-22.  The Circular will be issued by SAIL any day in the next week with details of 

1. IPD & OPD coverage 
2. premium to be paid 
3. payment procedure 
4. cappings
5. exclusions
6. list of Hospitals  etc

Members are requested to wait for further communication from SAIL, FORSE and the concerned Associations. Hope for the best.
