Dear friends,
As announced earlier large number of SAIL Retirees, alongwith EPS-95 Pensioners from other PSUs, collected at EPFO H O Delhi yesterday and conducted Dharna/ Demonstration to demand Implementation of Supreme Court Order for Payment of Full Pension under EPS 95, when CBT Meeting was going on inside the EPFO. You can see the SAIL Retirees led by S/Sri OP Wadhwa, KL Sharma and others in the Video in the following link.
The progamme was carried out by SAIL Retirees in Kolkata also which was led by Sri SK Ghosh and others and who presented a Memo to the EPFO Kolkata. Similar and massive demonstration was held at Shimoga by our VISP Retirees led by Sri Nagabhushan. These can be see in the attached Photographs.
I am very thankful to my entire SAIL EPS’95 pensioners’ fraternity located in Delhi, NCR, UP, HP, Haryana and Panjab and also those in Kolkata and Karnataka State for leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the event a great success in their respective locations.
As per my information (subject to confirmation), there was very heated discussions on our issue within the CBT Meeting that lasted for about half the duration of meeting and finally, it was decided that a meeting will now be held by the MOL&E with Secretary Labour, Jt. Sec Labour, CPFC and all CBT members representing Employees to further discuss on the issue in which one or two representatives of EPS’95 pensioners may also be invited.

But pl look at the disgusting way the channel has played by cutting down Sri Kohli's answer in between before he could highlight the problems created by 31st May advisory. Now I advise seriously the remaining Member Associations at Rourkela, Ranchi, Bokaro, SRU Bokaro/ Ramgarh, Kerala, Salem, Chennai. Mumbai to please conduct the Dharna in a weeks time to strengthen the cause. All Members getting this mail may join the Dharna at nearby place please.
