         Sub: Request to extend SAIL Mediclaim facility to VISL employees

                              retired between 1989 and 1998

Dear Sir,

This is to bring to your kind information that the subject issue was     discussed extensively by the FORSE Apex Council in its meeting at        Ranchi on April 09-10, 2025. Representatives of the VISL Retired                 Employees Welfare Centre, Bhadravati informed the Council that they         met you in your chamber in SAIL office on 8^th Feb 2024 and got an assurance that the SAIL Mediclaim facility would be extended soon to the VISL employees   retired between 1989 and 1998, the period in which VISL functioned as a subsidiary of SAIL. They met you again on 30^th June 2024 at Bhadravati and extracted the same assurance. Further the above referred reminder dated 22th July has also failed to extract a favourable order on the issue till date.

Sir, in view of the above, we request you to kindly approve the proposal to extend the SAIL Mediclaim facility to about 200 ex-employees of VISL retired between 1989 and 1998, so that they can join the Scheme wef 11^th July 2025
