Sub: Request to expedite renewal of Leasing of Houses already delayed by about 9 years
Ref: Delay in renewal of Leased House issue as per para 5A VII of MoM
Sir,
Apex Council Members from Ranchi raised the issue of delay of 9 years’ in renewal of the long leased Houses located in SAIL Satellite Township which is due from 25th November 2016 for two like periods of 30 (thirty) years each without payment of any further premium subject to satisfactory fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this lease agreement on the part of the Lessee. RDCIS has failed to do it even after several oral and written communications/ reminders by SAIL Ex-Employees’ Association Ranchi from time to time.
Members of the Apex council expressed anger for such a long delay in execution of Lease renewal by RDCIS/ SAIL Ranchi and it was decided that FORSE Chairman may take it up with RDCIS/ SAIL Ranchi. Members also felt that silence or inaction by RDCIS is also illegal. If RDCIS fail to resolve the issue within a month, FORSE Chairman will be free to ask SAIL to issue necessary advisory to RDCIS/ SAIL Ranchi to complete the process of renewal of House leasing within a given time-frame.
Sir, in view of the above we request you to kindly expedite the renewal of Leased houses in SST as per T&C of the Agreement.
